A farm with roots

Small-scale. Thoughtful. Genuine.

We are Mikael and Annika Pettersson. Here, deep in the forests of Göinge, we have been producing eggs and raising lambs on a small scale for many years.

We want to produce food on nature’s terms and keep our beautiful landscape open and thriving with the help of our grazing animals. Our farm offers eggs from barn hens, sheepskins from our Gotland sheep, and organic lamb production.

Our Egg Shop, Äggboden, mainly sells eggs from our own barn hens. You will also find a selection of locally produced goods to take home.

From our Gotland sheep

Naturally beautiful. Truly unique.

The curly fleece of Gotland sheep makes wonderfully soft, beautiful sheepskins. Our Sheepskin Shop, Skinnboden, has a large selection of prepared skins for sale.

We open by appointment. Get in touch with Annika or Mikael and we will find a time for your visit.

Healthy animals. Dedicated breeding.

Gotland sheep for the next generation.

We work carefully with our breeding to raise fine, healthy animals. The Gotland sheep is a traditional Swedish breed with roots in the Gute sheep and the island of Gotland.

Our animals are registered in Elitlamm and we participate in Fårhälsovården, the Swedish sheep health programme. The flock is Maedi Visna-free with MV3 status and holds F status in the Swedish footrot control programme.

In autumn, we sell ewe and ram lambs after fleece assessment and national grading. We also buy and sell nationally assessed breeding rams at ram auctions.
